Brandsweiher am Erzweg

56329 St. Goar

Hidden in the forest, at the bottom of the valley of the Strömerbach, lies the Brandsweiher. It owes its name to the former landowner, the knight Brand von Werlau. In the late Middle Ages, the noble family had its seat at the source of the Strömerbach, on the nearby Boxberger Hof.
