The Elmar Hillesheim Meadow – also called Arenzwies – is located on the dream path "Streuobstwiesenweg" (Orchard Meadow Path). Fruit trees, vibrant willow culture, and barrier-free paths make it a special place – also because the area is maintained by people with disabilities from the Förderwohnstätte gGmbH (FWS). Along a serpentine path to the Kettiger Bach, new perspectives unfold. Along the way, one encounters willow art: a large willow gazebo, woven structures, and an oversized willow fruit basket that pays homage to the tradition of local willow cultivation. A dream lounge and several seating areas invite for a moment of pause.
