In the midst of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley, high above Kestert, lies our holiday apartment Burgenblick, which offers you a wonderful view of the Rhine Valley and the castles Liebenstein and Sterrenberg. Kestert is a small Rhine community, beautifully nestled between the mountains and hills of the Hunsrück and Taunus, and centrally located between Rüdesheim, Koblenz, and Bad Ems. Your vacation spot is an ideal starting point if you want to explore and enjoy the Middle Rhine Valley with all its attractions. The entrance to the world-famous hiking trail "Rheinsteig" is right behind our holiday apartment. From here you can hike upstream along the so-called "Königsetappe" to St. Goarshausen and downstream to Kamp-Bornhofen, experiencing the magnificent nature of the Middle Rhine Valley with its breathtaking views down to the river.

Through forests, meadows, and vineyards, you can explore the numerous castles and fortresses in the area along the Rheinsteig. Above Kestert, at "Hindenburghöhe," you can enjoy a unique panoramic view over the Rhine Valley. The wild romantic "Pulsbachklamm" between Kestert and Oberkestert is a must for hiking enthusiasts.

Well connected in terms of transport, you can quickly reach the world-famous Lorelei rock by car, train, or bus, or take a trip to Rüdesheim to visit the Niederwald Monument and the famous Drosselgasse, or visit the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz, explore Boppard on the other side of the Rhine, or the nearby Bad Ems with its renowned spas. The local jetty invites you for a boat trip on the river.
