The Protestant church in Reitzenhain was built in 1738 on the site where a chapel previously stood.
During the recent interior renovation in 1991, the church regained its original green-red color scheme.
The listed Schöler organ – which was installed in 1752 – revealed two paintings depicting Moses and Aaron, likely dating back to the construction period of the church.

Near the church is the old school of the village community.
