We offer you the opportunity to get married in the Kurfürstliche Burg as a branch of the Eltviller Registry Office. 

The following rooms are available:

• Burgsaal: 70 sqm, 50 seats, 20 additional standing places, location: ground floor in the main building
• Kurfürstensaal: 105 sqm, 80 seats, 40 additional standing places, location: 1st floor in the main building (not wheelchair accessible, access via stairs)
  Note: Currently, the Kurfürstensaal is under renovation and is not available (as of Feb 2025).
• Grafensaal: 35 sqm, 20 seats, location: 1st floor in the castle tower (not wheelchair accessible, access via stairs)
• Burgzwinger, 20 to 120 seats, location: Outdoors with a view of the Rhine, wheelchair accessible
  The Zwinger is covered by large, permanently installed, weatherproof market umbrellas that protect against sun and rain.

Civil Ceremonies

It is possible to hold a civil ceremony in the Kurfürstliche Burg at the following locations and days: Thursdays in the outdoor area (Zwinger, with roofing) / Fridays and Saturdays also in the above-mentioned indoor rooms. Please note: Due to the current renovation work, ceremonies in the indoor areas are only possible until mid-October 2025 and then again from spring 2026. For a civil ceremony, you are not bound by any ceremonial guidelines and can put the ceremony together according to your personal wishes. A wedding/event coordinator will take care of the smooth process on-site and will be charged as a mandatory service. You can rent festive seating from us.

Information and Prices: Champagne Reception after the Ceremony

After the ceremony, you have the opportunity to toast in the romantic castle grounds with your guests. We would be happy to organize a champagne reception for you among fragrant rose beds, under shade-giving trees, or in the historic rooms. Enjoy the most beautiful day of your life in the splendid ambiance of the Kurfürstliche Burg Eltville on the Rhine.

Appointments

Please note that you must first schedule a marriage appointment with the registry office. The staff there will gladly provide you with the available dates. Afterwards, you can discuss the details regarding the room and the process with the staff of the castle and, if available, book a champagne reception.
