In the historic old town is the marketplace with its beautifully restored half-timbered houses. Particularly noteworthy is Marktplatz 1: House Arzbächer with a pretty courtyard gallery (around 1670). The extension of the market place is the Schloßstraße. House No. 13 is one of the oldest houses in Braubach, built around 1450.
