Park am Mäuseturm Bingen

Rheinkai 21, 55411 Bingen am Rhein

The majestic river, the Mouse Tower, and the ruins of Ehrenfels form the backdrop for the place of encounter, relaxation, a place of movement and events.

One of the largest marshalling yards in Germany (until 1974) was redesigned for the State Garden Show 2008 as the Park at the Mouse Tower. The massive river, the Mouse Tower, and the ruins of Ehrenfels form the backdrop for a place of encounter, relaxation, movement, and events. For children, the "R(h)ein to Play" is a well-known attraction. Currently (as of 26.06.2026), the stream there is not in operation due to low water levels. However, the playground itself is accessible – except during cleaning times on Tuesday.  For teenagers, there is a skate park and ball fields for youth and an obstacle course for adults. Opportunities for play and sports are available for all generations.

The control center People | Nature | Technology brings the history of the region to life. Multimedia installations, exciting exhibits, and models illustrate life at the Binger Loch. Natural banks, retreat areas for endangered animal and plant species, wide lawns, fruit trees, vines, and flower beds trace the journey from nature to culture.
