The palace park at Martinsschloss connects riverside views, historic walls, and peaceful walking paths. A location on the William Turner Route offers interactive insights into the Rhine landscape from the perspective of the famous painter.

Directly on the banks of the Rhine, the castle park at Martinsschloss Lahnstein invites visitors to linger. Surrounded by the historic walls of the medieval castle complex, guests here enjoy a unique combination of nature, culture, and landscape. The freely accessible area offers cozy walking paths, shady seating areas, and impressive perspectives. A special highlight is the location of the William Turner Route: From there, viewers can discover the Rhine landscape from the viewpoint of the famous painter – with interactive elements and exciting insights into his art.

Weitere Informationen

Until the BUGA 2029, the palace park will be carefully further developed – including plans for a Mediterranean garden and more accessible paths. Therefore, the park will be partially accessible from autumn 2026.
