In the foreground of the stele, you can see the edge of an old Rhine terrace in the vineyard. To the left of the field hedges begins the Eltville part of the vineyard Steinmorgen. Old Erbach was built on the alluvial fan of the Eberbach, which is to be found roughly around St. Markus. Opposite Erbach lies the Mariannenaue.
