St. Elisabeth Lahnstein
Ostallee 3, 56112 Lahnstein
The St. Elisabeth Lahnstein Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy has 60 inpatient beds, 20 day clinic treatment places, a psychiatric institute outpatient clinic (PIA), and a private outpatient clinic.
The wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services meets the most modern criteria of the psychiatric - psychotherapeutic field.
In our clinic, patients are treated based on an individualized therapy plan, utilizing evidence-based and guideline-oriented pharmacotherapeutic approaches, psychotherapy in individual and group sessions, psychosocial support, and additional (special) therapeutic offerings such as occupational therapy and movement therapy. Regular individual discussions emphasize the individuality of the patient. Social resonance is conveyed in psychological and indicative groups, which are problem-oriented and mostly offered across stations. The initiative of the patients is encouraged through internal and external station activities.
The department sees itself as part of the community-oriented psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment offerings in the Rhein-Lahn district. As part of the regional socio-therapeutic network, the department works closely with extramural institutions such as assisted living and day care centers. Regular visits from the social psychiatric service establish a connection between the clinic and the patient's home environment. Individual group and family work complements the diverse therapeutic offerings.
