The Tilman Joel Park is located right next to the over 800-year-old St. Martin Church. Here, silent history meets green tranquility: tombstones from five centuries tell of a long past, while blooming beds invite you to linger. The park – named after the Linz canon, legal scholar, and papal legate Tilmann Joel – is a reminder of spirit, law, and community. He also donated the valuable Marian altar, found in the church. The park is considered a place where relaxation merges with history and cultural heritage becomes tangible.
