Leave the stress of everyday life behind and enjoy selected wines, hearty regional and international tapas, homemade cakes as well as our breakfast on the Middle Rhine slate plate. To be mobile, we have built a trailer for professional tapas cuisine. Tapas originally reflect the lightness and serenity of Spanish cuisine. Middle Rhine tapas and Black Forest tapas, on the other hand, are small dishes inspired by the banks of the Rhine and the Black Forest.

Enjoy the Spanish flair with a view of the marketplace and the city wall while savoring the relaxed Middle Rhine way of life. At Väterchen Rhein, we have made it our mission to present all winemakers from Oberwesel with one of their excellent wines, as well as to showcase other wineries and wines from the Middle Rhine in our promotions. With our great location, we want to be a small "showcase" for the winemakers. As photographers and lovers of life, we are able to live and work at several places alternately as a family: along the Middle Rhine, in the Black Forest, in Vienna, and not far from Barcelona. All these different living environments have shaped us as creatives and inspired our project "Väterchen Rhein."

Regionality is our focus and is connected to our various places of residence. We have advocated for Oberwesel to keep its classic KD house, meaning it will not be demolished and the Rhine facilities will come back to life.

We also offer various activity afternoons for seniors or volunteer work, as well as winemaker sparkling wine and cocktail parties or our wine walk "Wine, Walk & Art."
