Wine accompanies us through time: 400 years of winemaking tradition of the WEILER and FENDEL families have left their mark and every generation adds the best. Today we cultivate 15 ha of steep vineyards (75% Riesling) in the valley of the Loreley.

The Rhine as a heat storage, the steep, sun-kissed southern slopes and the slate floor are ideal conditions for powerful, elegant wines.

For this we create the basis in the vineyard. Old vines with their deep roots bring a lot of minerals from the soil into the grapes and yet cause an automatic yield reduction (average 5000 l / ha). The careful care of the vines is a very important part of our work. A long maturation phase of the grapes, the determination of the right time to harvest, careful hand-picking and a very gentle processing of the grapes are very important to us.

When growing wine, we use only traditional craft methods. The result is wines that impress with their cleanliness and lively freshness and fruit.

Elegant white wines, full-bodied red wines and tangy sparkling wines distinguish us.
