On Sunday, October 12, 2025, Loreley Touristik GmbH, in cooperation with the Verbandsgemeinde Loreley, will offer a guided hike from Kestert to Kamp-Bornhofen as part of the anniversary year "20 Years Rheinsteig". Everyone who wishes to join is warmly invited. The hike starts at 11:00 AM at the train station in Kestert with a welcome from the mayor of the Verbandsgemeinde, Mike Weiland, followed by a joint hike along the nearly 14 km long route to Kamp-Bornhofen via the Rheinsteig. During the tour, Armin Schaust, a staff member in structure development and tourism at the Verbandsgemeinde Loreley, will share some interesting insights about the "RHEINsteig ERLEBEN" project at the newly established stations. Additionally, all participants can look forward to a glass of sparkling wine from the Loreley winery Leonhard in St. Goarshausen. Naturally, everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy the landscape and panorama peacefully at the many unique viewpoints. At the end of the tour, those who wish can stop by the Hotel Rheingraf in Kamp-Bornhofen, where the traditional wine festival takes place that weekend. All participants are warmly invited to conclude this hiking day with a small complimentary drink.

Bus, ferry, or train costs incurred as well as other consumption costs are not included.
