Anniversary hike along the RheinBurgenWeg
Koblenzer Str. 39, 53498 Bad Breisig
The Limes is a Roman border that extends all the way to Regensburg. At Bad Hönningen, there is the Limes Tower No. 1. On the right bank of the Rhine, the Limes was meant to provide the Romans with protection against the Germans. During the hike, we will walk a short distance along the Limes and learn a lot about the Romans. At the end of the hike, a stop is planned at Arenfels Castle. The hike covers a distance of approximately 12 km.
The hike starts at 10:00 AM at the Tourist Information Bad Breisig.
The participation fee is 5€, 3€ with a valid guest card, and children are free. Additional ferry and refreshment costs apply.
Registration is required at the Tourist Information at Tel. 02633/45630 or by email at tourist-info@bad-breisig.de; you can also receive further information here, of course about upcoming hiking dates as well.
