The Limes is a Roman border that runs up to Regensburg. At Bad Hönningen, you will find Limesturm No. 1. On the right bank of the Rhine, the Limes was intended to provide protection for the Romans against the Germans. During the hike, we will walk a small stretch along the Limes and learn some things about the Romans. At the end of the hike, a stop at Schloss Arenfels is planned. The distance covered will be about 12 km.
The hike begins at 10:00 AM at the Tourist Information in Bad Breisig.
The participation fee is €5, €3 with a valid guest card, and children are free. In addition, ferry and consumption costs apply.
