Christoph Soldan, artistic director of the Bacharach
master concerts has been performing worldwide for 35 years
as a pianist, conductor, and reciter. At the beginning of his career in 1988,
he toured with Leonard Bernstein, who commented on the artist
as follows: “I am impressed by the spiritual greatness of
this young musician.” For the Beethoven Year
2027, Christoph Soldan has selected a program in which he
reads letters from Beethoven to Josephine Countess von Deym
together with Nadine Oberender and plays 3 famous piano sonatas
by Ludwig van Beethoven. However, this reading concert also addresses
the question of who the recipient of his famous love letter with
the salutation “My angel, my everything, my self” actually was.
