For many, camping is the ultimate passion, and no other type of vacation is acceptable. Naturally, the same campsite on the Adriatic is visited every year. And how could it be otherwise, the site is firmly in German hands. The campsite is managed by Gianluca Spirelli, who once was the caretaker at the famous football stadium in Milan and somehow still thinks he works there. However, the holidaymakers, at least most of them, have gotten used to his ways and return to this site every year partly because of Gianluca. For almost 15 years, the nice couple Beutlin from Berlin has been returning in the summer months. Cindy, from Bochum, is there alone this year and hopes to finally find some peace from her family. But new guests also join the illustrious group of campers, such as Bärbel, the hippie chick who hopes to find her inner peace and the ultimate spiritual energy here.

Everything seems to be as always and all guests feel comfortable. But Gianluca is troubled by worries because the newly wealthy Bernd Baiser wants to buy the campsite to set up a sardine factory right there. Together they search for a solution, as the guests and also Gianluca are not easily willing to give up their beloved spot on the Adriatic.
