Description of the tour: Participants will learn a lot of interesting facts about the history of flooding in Neuwied and the necessity of the dike, about water construction on the Rhine, and about the operation of the pumping stations. A visit to the Dike Information Center is followed by a walk along the dike wall and a piece along the earth dike.
