Fountain Festival in the Kurpark Bad Breisig

This year's Fountain Festival from May 14 to 17, 2026 promises visitors a successful mix of established highlights and new attractions. For four days, the Kurpark transforms into a lively meeting place for guests from near and far.
A special highlight is once again the atmospheric illumination of the Kurpark on Friday and Saturday evenings. Numerous light objects spectacularly showcase the park and create a very special atmosphere.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the supporters of the Fountain Festival: Kreissparkasse Ahrweiler, VR Bank RheinAhrEifel eG, Hirsch-Apotheke Bad Breisig, Brohler Mineral- und Heilbrunnen, Bitburger Braugruppe, and Auto-Schäfer. Thanks to their support, the special lighting of the Kurpark and a varied supporting program can also be realized this year.
Strolling, Enjoying, and Family Program
About 40 market stalls invite you to leisurely stroll. Among other things, decorations for home and garden, individual textiles, jewelry, handicrafts, and numerous culinary specialties will be offered.
Little guests are also well taken care of: A children's carousel and the popular mobile pony carriages provide fun and entertainment in the Kurpark.
Thursday – Kick-off on Father's Day
On Thursday, May 14, the Fountain Festival traditionally starts on Father's Day. From 1:00 PM, the party band “Rio5 - guaranteed live” brings fantastic music for a great atmosphere and invites you to dance. Afterwards, DJ Alex Palm takes over and continues to provide musical entertainment.
Friday – Music and Light Magic
Friday evening is all about music and the special atmosphere in the Kurpark. From 6:00 PM, the colorful illumination of the park begins.
A musical highlight is the performance of the tribute band “4SWEDES”, which creates a real festive atmosphere with the biggest hits of Swedish pop legend ABBA.
Saturday – Family Program and Party Evening
On Saturday, May 16, visitors can expect a special highlight behind the stage: a mini-construction site course with functioning model vehicles in a scale of 1:14. On a detailed mini-construction site, trucks, excavators, and tractors work – just like in real construction site everyday life. The impressive functional models are presented by Kamil Golub, who will provide exciting insights into the world of model construction technology starting at 10:00 AM.
From 2:00 PM, the Karnevalsgesellschaft Bad Breisig presents a family-friendly stage program featuring various dance performances.
In the evening, it will be musical: From 7:00 PM, the well-known dance and party band “Skybagg” will create a great atmosphere with their diverse repertoire of dance, party, and Kölsch music. The Kurpark will once again be atmospherically illuminated with numerous light objects.
Sunday – Classic Cars and Brass Music
Sunday also offers special program points: With the support of Auto-Schäfer, a classic car entry will take place in the southern part of the Kurpark – a highlight for all classic car fans.
From 1:00 PM, the Blasorchester Brohltal (BOB) will provide musical entertainment and good vibes on the stage in the Kurpark.
