The significant co-founder of the cooperative movement in Germany, Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen, fought in the 19th century against poverty and social suffering of the population with new ideas and great determination. Two consecutive tours illustrate the effects of industrialization on the working class as well as Raiffeisen's personal experiences and reforms.
