Führung zum Tag des offenen Denkmals 14.09.2025 - Adelshöfe und die Brömserburg

Rheinstrasse 29a, 65385 Rüdesheim am Rhein

Join our tour guide Mr. Zahn for an atmospheric tour through the historic old town, where magnificent noble courtyards still tell of the splendor and wealth of past centuries. Stroll through narrow alleys, let the special atmosphere take effect, and immerse yourself in the history of our small town. The conclusion includes a behind-the-scenes look at the Brömserburg with sparkling wine and pretzels. Start at 3:00 PM, duration 2 hours.

You will experience the atmospheric finale at the Brömserburg, one of the oldest preserved castles on the Rhine. It received its current name from the knights of the Brömser family, who inhabited it from the 12th to the 17th century. In the castle's park, known as the castle moat, you will be offered a glass of sparkling wine and pretzel sticks to conclude the event. Sunday, September 14, 2025 – Start at 3:00 PM at the fountain in front of the town hall at the marketplace, duration approximately 2 hours.

The Day of Open Monuments has been coordinated nationwide by the German Foundation for Monument Protection since 1993. The event day, on which many otherwise inaccessible monuments are opened to the public, takes place annually on the second Sunday in September.
