Geführte Radtour durch die Rhein-Kommunen
Kärlicher Straße 4, 56220 Kettig
The four neighboring municipalities located on the Middle Rhine, Weißenthurm, Leutesdorf, Andernach, and Neuwied, invite you to a guided "WLAN" bike tour along the banks of the Rhine - a great opportunity to get to know the region around the Neuwieder Basin with its unique features. From the meeting point at the Verbandsgemeindeverwaltung Weißenthurm, the tour first goes to the city's landmark, the White Tower, and the grave monument of the French General Hoche. The tour then leads to the Neuwied Castle and the flood protection dike in Neuwied, before continuing to the romantic wine town of Leutesdorf with its historic Rhine front and the Marienburg. With the Rhine ferry Bad Hönnigen– Bad Breisig, participants will return to the left bank of the Rhine. Passing by the Namedy Castle, the Old Crane, and the Rhine Gate of the bakers' town of Andernach, the route returns to the starting point in Weißenthurm.
