The Society for Health Counseling GGB e.V. is committed as a non-profit organization to educating people on topics related to medicine, nutrition, environment, and life counseling.
Under the motto "Living with Dignity," informative and enlightening lectures by high-profile speakers will be offered over an entire weekend. Journalist and author Lena Högemann from Berlin will open the conference with her talk “This is not how I wanted to bring my child into the world! – What women need to know about a self-determined birth.” Following that, Dr. phil. Mathias Jung will engage in a conversation with his guest Prof. Dr. Michael Steinbrecher, known as the moderator of the SWR program “Nachtcafé,” about his book “The Struggle for Dignity.”
On Saturday, the initiative “Würdekompass e.V.”, founded by Dr. Gerald Hüther among others, will be presented by its treasurer Steffi Abu Salah. The issue of smartphone usage among young people will be addressed by the educational-therapeutic media consultant Frank J. Bündgen. Other speakers include the well-known journalist and author Prof. Dr. Gabriele Krone-Schmalz (“Respect is Different – Reflections on Our Divided Country”), freelance journalist Bastian Barucker (“Co-opted Science”), and author and moderator Raúl Krauthausen ("Those who want inclusion will find a way").
On Sunday morning, Dr. med. Jürgen Birmanns and the psychological psychotherapist Hassan El Khomri will hold their traditional “Medical and Psychotherapeutic Advice from a Holistic Perspective,” in which medical questions from the audience will be answered. The event will conclude with Dr. phil. Mathias Jung presenting a lecture on his current book titled “Can You Also Find Love?”.
