On a section of the Katharinaweg in Brohl, we hike to an extinct volcano that was used as a quarry for centuries. Many millstones were produced here in the Middle Ages and exported to distant countries.
A distance of about 12 km and an elevation of 300 meters will be covered.
The hike starts at 10:00 AM at the Aalschokker in Brohl on the banks of the Rhine.
The participation fee is €5, €3 with a valid guest card, and children are free.
