Historisches Halloween auf der mystischen Marksburg

Marksburg, 56338 Braubach

Historic Halloween at the mystical Marksburg

As darkness falls earlier and the great castle gate closes for day visitors, the castle awakens to new life. All the legendary and ghostly figures of the region gather on the evenings before All Saints' Day at Marksburg. The Black Knight of Kamp-Bornhofen and the White Lady of Lahneck have already confirmed their attendance, and the headless castle bailiff is haunting somewhere in the castle.

Historical legends and myths intertwine at the medieval Marksburg to create a hauntingly beautiful spooky fun that becomes a ghostly experience for children and adults alike. Of course, "Trick or Treat" is also taken care of.

This special castle tour is offered on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, at 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tickets cost €15 per person and can be booked online at www.marksburg.de
Further information can also be obtained at Tel. 02627 206

Marksburg is the only high castle on the Middle Rhine that has never been destroyed. It is owned by the German Castles Association. This association is one of the oldest non-governmental monument protection organizations in Germany. The entrance fees thus directly contribute to the preservation of this unique historical monument.
