In August 1999, three talented musicians set out to prove to the world that one can fill large halls even with cover songs. Long before Ed Sheeran, they swapped their electric guitars for acoustic instruments and named themselves SIMPLY UNPLUGGED. Their musical talent and drive for perfection rapidly grow their fanbase. Original versions of world-famous hits, humorous moderation, and varied stage shows prove that their concept works. In their current tour program, Eddie Gimler, Peter Spang, and Horst Friedrich remain true to this successful recipe. Songs by the Beatles invite sing-alongs, with a medley of their greatest hits they pay tribute to the Bee Gees, while classical and pop pieces are played virtuously, and a masterpiece by Queen takes your breath away. As in previous years, they take their audience on a journey through emotions in this program. And every concert, the three musicians manage to give their listeners goosebumps one after the other. Because one thing is undoubtedly clear to them: goosebumps don’t lie!
