Agathe's heart beats for literature, especially for the novels of author Jane Austen. While she works in the bookstore, she actually dreams of a life as a writer. When her best friend Félix submits her first novel chapters to a writing competition and Agathe gets the chance to prove her talent at the Jane Austen Writers Residency and further develop her novel, it seems her dream is coming true. But a kiss from Félix before her departure and a new acquaintance with Oliver, a distant nephew of Jane Austen, lead to plenty of turbulence and writer's block. Soon, it is Agathe herself who finds herself in her very own, modern Jane Austen story.
