Karli, who makes a living as a petty crook, wants to blow up an ATM when he is nearly run over by Marie in her old Opel Admiral. Clever Karli seizes the opportunity because Marie is massively drunk. Karli threatens to call the police. Marie fails to realize that Karli was actually committing a crime. So she takes the guy with her to her already rundown villa. Soon after, they find themselves on a road trip from Bavaria to Tyrol. The heiress of a concrete company wants to secure a contract there with the help of a nice bribe. Karli claims to be a soldier with special forces training, making him a perfect fit for Marie's plans. But on the drive to the neighboring country, one problem after another arises, as nothing goes as planned. A heartfelt feel-good comedy featuring a headstrong couple.
