Musiktage am Rhein
In der Sayner Hütte 4, 56170 Bendorf-Sayn
The chamber music summer camp "Musiktage am Rhein" will again gather around 60 young exceptional talents from around the world this August at the State Music Academy in Engers.
Under the direction of Anne Shih, a professor of violin at the University of Music in Mainz, a team of international instructors supports the young musicians. Daily individual instruction is offered, which prepares them for ensemble playing. This is complemented by coaching sessions, group rehearsals, and daily concerts in inspiring locations such as Engers Castle, Namedy Castle, or the Gießhalle of the Sayner Hütte, which are part of the festival concept as performance training. Instructors and participants perform together with the ensemble "Mainzer Virtuosi" and international guests, such as pianist Giacomo Battarino and cellist Sung Won Yang. The program offers the audience a wide range of high-quality, captivating music, while the participants are pleased to be able to make music together in the land of many great composers and gain concert experience with like-minded individuals.
