On the last day of the year, the "Vulkan-Express" traditionally departs for the New Year's Eve journey from Brohl am Rhein to Oberzissen in the Eifel!

At 10:15 a.m., the peaceful winter journey begins on our narrow-gauge railway into the hopefully snow-covered Eifel. After a cozy ride, the Vulkan-Express reaches its destination today in Oberzissen.

Once there, we offer a guided winter hike through the Eifel landscape to a shelter, where a delicious Eifel stew awaits you. Following the hike, the nicely heated cars are ready for the return trip to Brohl. Arrival in Brohl is at 3:40 p.m.

Ticket prices including hike and stew: Adults €34.00, children up to 15 years €15.00. The ticket price for adults also includes a Piccolo or a non-alcoholic beverage.
