City tour through the historic Oberwesel
"Oberwesel is one of the Rhine towns that has suffered most from wars. The old city wall is perforated by gunfire from cannons and bullets. But today Oberwesel resembles an old soldier who became a winemaker. Its red wine, however, is excellent." Noted Victor Hugo during his travels on the Rhine in 1838.
On a guided tour through the monument-protected area of Oberwesel, knowledgeable guides bring the legends and events back to life and also explain the history of the historic town.
Every Saturday, duration about 1.5 hours.
