From October 8 to 11, 2026, the rheinleuchten will once again illuminate special places between Rüdesheim and Koblenz. Modern light art transforms buildings and landscapes, creating entirely new impressions through the interplay of light, colors, and sound. Selected locations in Lahnstein will also be impressively showcased. The illuminations begin daily at dusk around 7.00 p.m. and can be experienced until approximately 10.00 p.m. Admission is free in Lahnstein.

Castle Lahneck
Allerheiligenberg Chapel
Nassau-Sporkenburger Court

Castle Restaurant Lahneck Romantic dinner by candlelight
End your day with a romantic dinner in the historic atmosphere of the castle restaurant. Enjoy regional and classic specialties as well as seasonal offers with a magnificent view of the Rhine and Lahn. In nice weather, the terrace invites you to linger, and here you will also be offered a small snack.

Open bar of the theater
The Theater Lahnstein will open its bar on this day. Enjoy the refined illumination of the theater and the forecourt with a drink.

Wine hike around the monastery and the chapel
Each evening at 7.00 p.m., a wine hike with anecdotes and stories about the former monastery and the illuminated chapel will start. Registration is requested via email: marellativ@web.de

Duration: approx. 1 hour Cost: € 19.00 per person including 4 wines and snacks
Afterward, you can relax by the campfire at the main square.

Reading in the little room A reading with Wilhelm Breßer will take place in the Café Pilgerstübchen. He will read from his book “Positive Masculinity”. Enjoy a piece of homemade quiche with it.
