It has become a tradition to astonish the spectators and give them goose bumps every year with a huge firework display synchronised to the music. Experience the fireworks exclusively on one of the many ships that unite to form a large ship parade.

The special ships will set off from Oberwesel at 5.00 pm. The journey will take you downstream through the "Upper Middle Rhine Valley", a World Heritage Site. Past the legendary rocks of the "seven virgins" and the Loreley, which lie in the bed of the Rhine. After the numerous boats have formed up into a parade, the tour continues past the Loreley Rock, the narrowest and deepest part of the Rhine, which is lit up by Bengal fire, and back to Oberwesel. approx. 21.20 hrs: After the ships have reached their designated places, the illumination begins and Oberwesel lights up its historic townscape. approx. 21.35 hrs: Guests will experience a unique music-synchronised pyro-musical, which will have a very special effect in the narrowness of the Rhine Valley. From 10.00 p.m. the special ships will dock again in Oberwesel after the fireworks. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the Oberwesel wine market on the market square. Dance music and wine stalls from the Oberwesel winegrowers await visitors.
