They are Germany's A-Cappella German poets. Their style: Catchy melodies and intelligent lyrics. anders writes smart pop songs in German, taking the a cappella format seriously and offering more than just instrument-replicating covers of current chart hits or nostalgic songs about balcony flora. They captivate their audience not only at their own concerts but also in the opening acts for bands like Revolverheld or Thees Uhlmann. ANDERS are winners of the St. Ingberter Pfanne 2020 (Audience Award & Special Prize of the Minister of Culture), the Vokal.total-Festival Graz 2019 (1st Prize in the POP category), and the SoLaLa A Cappella Festival Solingen 2019 (Jury Prize & Audience Prize). In 2019, ANDERS received the CARA Award in the USA for their album "Viel Lärm um dich" as the best European A-Cappella Album. They also won 1st prize at the Aarhus Vocal Festival 2024 and were awarded the Promotion Prize of the Baden-Württemberg Small Arts Prize 2024.

With their new program "So Close," the five singers are going all out and singing about life in all its facets in their own poetic way: Humorous, melancholic, philosophically questioning, and self-assured. anders presents a spectacular a cappella show with unmistakable pop sound, authentic songs, and an audience proximity that is second to none. The program title "So Close" is accordingly to be understood less as a self-description and more as a promise. With "So Close," the Freiburg formation once again demonstrates that they can already compete with the greats of the scene.
