Starke Frauen - Starke Weine! Hildegard, Loreley und Germania mal ganz anderes

Rheinstrasse 29a, 65385 Rüdesheim am Rhein

“The wine delights the heart of man” – and so do kind words and beautiful music. A warm welcome to a special event of enjoyment and music! Strong women – Strong wines: Singer Nicole Kierdorf and moderator Luise Lutterbach dedicate themselves to Hildegard of Bingen, Loreley, and Germania – modernly interpreted with words, music, and wine. Luise Lutterbach shines a light on the three female figures from today’s perspective, while Nicole Kierdorf accompanies the evening with well-known songs. Wines will be poured from the regions where the women worked: Rieslings from the Loreley winery Leonhard, from winemaker Theresa Breuer in Rüdesheim, and from Sister Thekla at the Abbey of St. Hildegard's winery. The winemakers will personally present their wines. To welcome guests, there will be a Secco from Iris Syré-Wilbert (Winery Bretz). Appropriate snacks from the Caritas kitchen will accompany the wines. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for exchange and further tasting. The event is open to all interested parties – women and men alike.

The wine delights the heart of man ....

A kind word and beautiful music also delight the soul. Welcome to a very special event! Can it be something completely different?

Strong women - Strong wines: Hildegard of Bingen, Loreley, and Germania in a completely different way – this is what singer Nicole Kierdorf and moderator Luise Lutterbach had in mind, resulting in an evening full of enjoyment and music, which fits this creative duo from Bingen.

If Hildegard of Bingen already said that wine delights the heart of man, this also certainly applies to a kind word and beautiful music. Luise Lutterbach will look at the three female figures that are so influential in the Rhine Valley with contemporary eyes. Nicole Kierdorf will musically accompany the whole event with world-famous songs.

Wines that grow directly in the locations of the female figures will be served: Rieslings, mostly cultivated by women from the Loreley winery Leonhard in St. Goarshausen, from winemaker Theresa Breuer in Rüdesheim, and from Sister Thekla at the winery of the Abbey of St. Hildegard in Eibingen. They will also personally present their wines.

A Secco will be served as a welcome drink from winemaker Iris Syré-Wilbert from the Bretz winery, whose wine shop in Bingen-Kempten offers a beautiful view of the Niederwalddenkmal, Germania, and the Abbey of St. Hildegard.

Even though the women have a stronger say on this evening and it is not really a "women's evening" in that sense, the event is of course also aimed at men and is generally open to all interested parties.

The wines will be accompanied by matching snacks from the Caritas kitchen of the CBS. Afterwards, there will still be the opportunity to engage in conversation and taste wines from the participating wineries.
