The city center tour for children is popular, and now there is a special variation of it for the first time: the participating boys and girls go on an exploration tour with their flashlights! Just like on the regular city center tour, the children learn many exciting details about the history of Neuwied in a fun way. The journey takes them back to the founding era of Neuwied. There, the young city explorers discover more about the castle and its inhabitants. However, more recent historical events are also on the agenda. The significance of the dike and the memorial in Synagogengasse are just as much part of the research trip. None of the most important attractions of Neuwied will be omitted during the tour (approx. 1.5 hours). And: The young history fans are also welcome to contribute their existing knowledge and pepper the city guides with their questions.
