On Thursday the traditional wine market in Oberwesel opens its doors. The time-honored festival celebrating wine promotes exquisite drops from the region. Winemakers and wine witches invite visitors from near and far to the joyful wine market activities in the Oberwesel marketplace. There will be plenty of food and drink.
The program promises excellent entertainment for visitors and guests. Platz concerts from various clubs in Oberwesel and the surrounding area will provide musical entertainment in the afternoon.

The wine market, along with Rhine in Flames, is the main attraction in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley!

In the historic ambiance of the marketplace, winemakers have set up their wine booths, giving the festival its special character. Take advantage of the selection of over 150 different cultivated, finest qualities from the Middle Rhine and taste and enjoy the best drops our winemakers have to offer. A colorful and varied supporting program throughout all days guarantees entertaining and lively atmosphere. A special highlight is also the traditional large festival parade on wine market Sunday. Every year, the winemakers come up with a special theme. Even some time in advance, they hammer and build to implement the design templates. On Sunday from 3 p.m. the results of the construction work can be seen in the grand festival parade.
