Description of the tour:

Many know how beautiful the Rhine and its banks are. But let’s be honest – does that knowledge reach all the way to the other bank of the river or just right outside one's own front door? This is exactly what the four Rhine municipalities Weißenthurm, Leutesdorf, Andernach, and Neuwied suspected years ago and formed the Wi-Fi cooperation. Their aim is to jointly showcase their beauties to residents and visitors, and this year it will be done in a sporty way. The Wi-Fi cooperation offers four bike tours in 2019.

The special thing: The route and thus the starting point vary each time. The starting point of each tour is also the focus of the day and is elaborated on by the knowledgeable bike guide Gerhard Petry in his presentation. From here, the tour will then proceed in a counterclockwise direction through all four Wi-Fi municipalities.

Entertaining and with many background stories and small anecdotes, Petry will introduce all locations.
Even locals are likely to learn something new. Each tour, with all the stops, lasts about 4.5 hours and is also suitable for the untrained.
Participants must bring their own food and bicycles, and wearing a helmet is mandatory. Unfortunately, participation of younger children is not possible.
