Description of the tour: Many people know how beautiful the Rhine and its banks are. But hand on heart - does this knowledge extend to the other side of the river or only to your own front door? This is exactly what the four Rhine communities of Weißenthurm, Leutesdorf, Andernach and Neuwied suspected years ago and joined forces to form a WLAN co-operation. Their aim is to show residents and visitors their beauty together, and this year they are doing this in a sporty way. The WLAN cooperation is offering four tours by bike in 2019.

What makes them special: The route and therefore the starting point vary each time. The starting point of each tour is also the focus of the day and will be explained in detail by the expert cycle guide Gerhard Petry. From here, the route then goes anti-clockwise through all four WLAN communities.

Petry will introduce all the towns in an entertaining way, with lots of background stories and little anecdotes. Even locals are likely to learn something new. With all the stops in between, each tour lasts around 4.5 hours and is also suitable for the untrained. You will need to bring your own food and bikes, and helmets are compulsory. Unfortunately, it is not possible for younger children to take part.
