Description of the tour:

Many know how beautiful the Rhine and its banks are. But let’s be honest – does this knowledge extend to the other side of the river or just to the front door? This is exactly what the four Rhine municipalities of Weißenthurm, Leutesdorf, Andernach, and Neuwied suspected years ago and joined forces for the WLAN cooperation. Their aim is to show residents and visitors their beauties together, and this year it will be done in a sporty way. The WLAN cooperation offers four bike tours in 2019.

The special thing: The route and thus the starting point vary each time. The starting point of each tour is also the focus of the day and will be addressed in more detail by the knowledgeable cycling guide Gerhard Petry in his presentation. From here, the tour will proceed counterclockwise through all four WLAN municipalities.

Entertaining and with many background stories and little anecdotes, Petry will present all the places.
Even locals are likely to learn something new. Each tour lasts about 4.5 hours with all stops and is also suitable for those who are not fit.
Food and bicycles must be brought along, and wearing a helmet is mandatory. Participation of younger children is unfortunately not possible.
