Description of the tour:

How beautiful the Rhine and its banks are is something many know. But let’s be honest – does that knowledge extend to the other side of the river or just to your own doorstep? That is exactly what the four Rhine municipalities of Weißenthurm, Leutesdorf, Andernach, and Neuwied suspected years ago and formed the WLAN cooperation. Their aim is to showcase the beauties of the area to residents and visitors alike, and this year, it is being done in a sporty way. The WLAN cooperation is offering four bike tours in 2019.

The special thing: The route and thus also the starting point vary each time. The starting point of each tour is also the focus of the day and will be discussed in more detail by the knowledgeable bike guide Gerhard Petry during his introduction. From there, each tour will proceed counterclockwise through all four WLAN municipalities.

Entertaining and with many background stories and little anecdotes, Petry will introduce all the locations.
Even locals are likely to learn something new. With all the stops, each tour lasts about 4.5 hours and is also suitable for the untrained.
Participants must bring their own food and bicycles, and helmets are mandatory. Unfortunately, participation by younger children is not possible.
