Zoo Neuwied: Abendführung
Waldstr. 160, 56566 Neuwied/ Heimbach-Weis
What do hedgehogs eat for dinner? How do kangaroos sleep? What does the sloth "Lento" do when there are no more visitors in the Prinz Maximilian zu Wied Hall?
During the evening tours, you can find out. These are always a very special zoo experience: completely without the hustle and bustle of visitors and under professional guidance, the zoo can be experienced at dusk, and with clear skies, there is even a spectacular view of the Rhine Valley at sunset. Meerkats, chimpanzees, lions, and co. behave quite differently after "work hours," while owls, badgers, and maned wolves come to life.
The public evening tours take place on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month from April to October and last about 1.5 to 2 hours.
Participation costs €20 per person (children from 3 years pay), meeting point is at the zoo main ticket office.
Tickets are available at www.shop.zooneuwied.de.
Groups of 10 or more should book a private evening tour at a separate time through the zoo school (02622-904620)!
