On October 31, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., this year's event "Halloween at the Zoo" will take place!

At various interactive stations, you can experience creepy crawlies up close and discover the costumes of the animal kingdom. There will also be Halloween tattoos and a craft station.

Participation in the activities is free of charge; only the zoo entrance fee applies. No special ticket purchase is necessary. The zoo is regularly open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Special tour on Halloween On the spookiest night of the year, we will walk through the pitch-dark zoo later than ever before. Only flashlights illuminate our paths. Who will we see at this time? What sounds do we hear? We will explore the zoo at night, gain an exciting insight into the animal world, and be able to experience various crawlies up close.
The night tour takes place on October 31, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. and lasts for 2 hours.
Adults and children aged 12 and over (accompanied by a legal guardian) can participate in the tour; younger children are excluded from this event. Tickets are available in our webshop. https://zooneuwied.de/veranstaltung/halloween-nachtfuehrung-zoo/
