Grauer (Graven) Turm
Alte Schlossstr. 1, 56566 Neuwied
Tower of the old city wall
The defensive tower known as the Gray Tower in popular parlance belongs to the city wall built around 1370, which was constructed in a semicircle around Engers and is only partially preserved today.
The city wall path is marked and shows where the city wall of the once-independent town of Engers runs. You can explore this on your own with a QR code or experience it during a guided tour.
