A new beginning at the Klosterschänke from November 2025!
With Sicilian passion, artisanal sophistication, and a pinch of monastic inspiration, a place where cuisine and culture meet has been created here under the direction of Rosa Roccaro (known from “Butta la Pasta” in Wiesbaden).
The combination of regionality, authenticity, and craftsmanship is the guiding principle behind the motto “The best of the simple things.” The cuisine is inspired by monasteries and influenced by the Rheingau region—all with an Italian foundation!
Rosa's cuisine stands for artisanal care and a clear approach: everything is homemade, and the pasta is, of course, handmade. The ingredients are regional and carefully selected. At the Klosterschänke, we cook with good ingredients from our homeland and the best our European neighbors have to offer. Everything you get on your plate is prepared with care in the kitchen and honors the product and its authentic flavor.
