Weingut Koegler
Kirchgasse 5, 65343 Eltville am Rhein
Our 600-year-old farm is happy to welcome guests.
For four generations, we have been winemakers out of passion. We, as the Koegler family, stand for this with our name. The heart of our winery is our vineyards. For many hundreds of years, our ancestors have been cultivating Riesling wines in the Rheingau. We feel connected to this tradition and still exclusively age our top Rieslings in large German oak casks. But we also have a taste for the new: Grüner Veltliner, Blauer Zweigelt, and Verjus. This combination can only be found here with us in the Rheingau.
French oak barrels (barrique) also give our red wines their character: For over 20 years, we have been aging Spätburgunder in the classic Burgundy Pinot Noir style. A red wine that can only be produced in very few locations in the Rheingau, such as the Eltviller Sonnenberg. These classic cultivation and aging methods require time: We do not rush, and we do not rush our wines!
