For the ride, we travel along the left bank of the Rhine to Bad Breisig, where we take the quiet Vinxtbachtal to Königsfeld and then reach the highest point of the tour at 330 m NHN, where we enter the forested Idienbachtal, which takes us to the Ahr. From there, we ride to the mouth of the Ahr at Kripp and then take the ferry to Linz, where we make ourselves comfortable in the medieval old town over coffee or ice cream. On the return trip along the Rhine to Neuwied, we can enjoy the beautiful Rhine landscape almost effortlessly.
