Dr. Christina Schiller is a versatile artist with a deep love for music, dance, and painting. From an early age, she was influenced by various cultures – as a child, she lived in St. Petersburg and in the Vogtland region of Plauen. Today, she lives and works as an artist and freelance trainer for intercultural competence. In addition to her passion for ballet, flamenco, and music – particularly on the guitar and piano – her heart is especially devoted to painting. Whether in oil, watercolor, or acrylic: Christina Schiller paints "from the soul" and follows her own motto – "Courage for the motif." Her paintings tell stories of encounters and emotions, of people who lose themselves in the expression of the arts, and of animals that embody strength and freedom. Often, she draws inspiration from the colors and shapes of foreign countries. Her works invite viewers to linger, reflect, and interpret – always with a clear perspective, yet open to the viewers' own interpretations. Since 2014, Dr. Christina Schiller has been a member of the Kunstkreis Namedy e.V., and since 2021, she has also been part of the Kunstkreis Namedy group. She regularly participates in group exhibitions and has, among other places, been experienced in Hein's Mühle with an exhibition and musical accompaniment. Christina Schiller's art touches because it comes honestly and directly from within – painted from the soul.
