Rahel Troll – Color, Emotion, and Flowing Energy
When encountering the paintings of Rahel Troll, one immediately feels her passion for color, movement, and energy. Since 2004, the artist has been pursuing her own self-taught path – boldly, curiously, and always open to new forms of expression. Initially, she worked primarily with acrylics, but soon discovered oil paint, which continues to inspire her to this day. "It gives me the opportunity to express my feelings through soft, gentle gradients of color," she says. Even as a child, Rahel Troll was fascinated by colors – especially those of the rainbow, which still shine in many of her works. Over the years, her creative journey has led her to constantly new materials and techniques. In addition to her vibrant paintings, she also creates objects from porcelain and ceramics – each piece a handcrafted unique work, infused with her unmistakable energy. For Rahel Troll, art is much more than mere design: she sees it as a reflection of invisible forces that permeate all life. "Energies cannot be seen, yet they are everywhere around us and influence our well-being," says the artist. This attitude shapes not only her painting but also her role as a workshop leader and energy worker.
In Neuwied, she offers workshops where she encourages people to become creatively active and discover their own creative energy. The location for her exhibition could hardly be more fitting: the historic grain mill in Sayn. Once, as today, it is powered solely by water – a place where energy becomes palpable. In this special space, Rahel Troll's color-intensive works unfold their full impact. They bring warmth, light, and joy of life to the old walls and create an atmosphere that is contagious.
