Visual arts and theater merge in a fascinating symbiosis that unites the passion for staging and storytelling. 

The New Art Association Middle Rhine (NKVM) presents the exhibition "Mise en scène - a term from the theater and film jargon that describes the entire artistic design of a production. It encompasses the careful composition of scenery, props, lighting, costumes, and everything that contributes to the visual narrative.

In this context, mise en scène becomes a visual preview of the story that is told even before a single word is spoken. The same applies to the images and sculptures arranged in the theater foyer. The exhibition brings together members, friends, and guests of the NKVM, who are connected through their love for visually narrated productions. Artistic universes unfold here in different ways, particularly intertwining with the world of theater.
